Timeless Jewel is the basetype of a set of five unique jewels that can alter the passive tree nodes.

Mechanics

Each unique Timeless Jewel alters passive nodes within its radius based on its seed and name. As an example, the numbers on Glorious VanityGlorious Vanity

Right click to remove from the Socket. range from 100 to 8000, with no specific benefit associated with a particular range of numbers (The range is different for the 4 other jewels). Each number is associated with a variant of the alternative skill tree, and each name is associated with a different keystone passive. (I.e., the same seed yielded the same skill tree with the same effect on notable and small passive, but the keystone is only affected by the name) There are 7901 possibilities for each of Ahuana, Doryani and Xibaqua variants of the Glorious Vanity jewel alone, meaning that there are a total of 23703 different possibilities for each jewel. You may only equip one unique Timeless Jewel at a time. Each unique version has the tag "Limited to: 1 Historic", (Currently due to the template used in this wiki, the infobox cannot display 1 Historic but display as 1 incorrectly)

Non-unique Timeless Jewel

Players can obtain a non-unique Timeless Jewel by corrupting five unique Timeless Jewels into rares, then selling five corrupted rare Timeless Jewel to a vendor for an uncorrupted rare. Item acquisition

Timeless Jewel has restrictions on where or how it can drop.

This basetype does not drop normally. It drops as unique item only.

The general way to acquire unique Timeless Jewels is from their respective Legions in the Domain of Timeless Conflict. Players need to place at least 2 emblems from different legions in the map device to open the portal to the area. Read the article about emblems for details.

Non-unique Timeless Jewels do not normally drop. Players can obtain a non-unique Timeless Jewel by corrupting five unique Timeless Jewels into rares, then selling five corrupted rare Timeless Jewel to a vendor for an uncorrupted rare. Since not every corruption outcome is a rare, players need to vaal, at minimum, five Timeless jewels to use this vendor recipe.

Version history

3.16.0	Timeless Passives that granted Spell Dodge now grant a chance to Suppress Spell Damage. Timeless Passives that granted Attack Dodge now grant a chance to Avoid Elemental Ailments.
3.14.0	Chainbreaker no longer causes you to Lose 5 Rage when you Hit an Enemy, no more than once every 0.3 seconds. Now causes Skills to cost +3 Rage. Corrupted Soul now causes you to Gain 15% of Maximum Life as Extra Maximum Energy Shield (previously 20%).
3.11.0	Timeless Jewel Keystone passives have become a popular feature for many builds, but are prohibitively difficult to acquire (especially without trade). We've moved some of the most build-defining Keystones out of the Timeless Jewels and into the tree itself. These Keystones have been added to the tree: The Agnostic, Glancing Blows, Supreme Ego, Wind Dancer and Eternal Youth. New keystones have been added to replace the five that are now available on the passive skill tree. The new ones are: The Traitor, Supreme Ostentation, Chainbreaker, Transcendence, Immortal Ambition. Existing Timeless Jewels will retain the old keystones, but if you reroll them with a Divine Orb they will be able to reveal these new keystones.
3.9.2f	The following items now allocate to the Map Maker when they drop: Timeless Jewels, Ivory Watchstones, Awakened Gems, Awakener's Orbs, Conquerors Exalted Orbs and Uniques from Legion, Blight, Metamorph and Conquerors of the Atlas bosses.
