Mechanics

  • Imprints cannot be made of or used on Fractured items.
  • Imprints can be made of items with the Split tag and subsequently used on them normally. However, the act of splitting an item changes its identity: if an imprint is created before the item is split, the imprint cannot be used on either of the split copies.
  • Imprints can be used on synthesised items, influenced items, and items with eldritch implicit modifiers.
    • Imprints can be used to roll back the Harvest craft to synthesise an item, or roll back the use of an Awakener's OrbAwakener's OrbStack Size: 10Destroys an item, applying its influence to another of the same item class
The second item is reforged as a rare item with both influence types and new modifiers
Right click this item, then left click the item you wish to take the influence from, then left click an item of the same item class you wish to apply it to.
. The latter case only works on the recipient item, not the donor item that is destroyed.

Version history

Version Changes
3.14.0
  • Splitting an item through Beast-crafting or a Fractured Fossil now applies a 'Split' tag to both items.
    • Split items cannot be split again
    • (In dev manifesto) Split items cannot have Imprints made of them or applied to them.[1] [confirmation needed because of players have reported the opposite]
  • Watchstones that don't have sextant modifiers applied to them can be imprinted once again.
3.13.1
  • You can no longer imprint Watchstones (for example with the Bestiary imprint recipe or Eternal Orbs). Restoring the number of Sextant uses through this method was a consequence we did not intend.
3.13.0
  • Imprinted Eternal OrbsEternal OrbStack Size: 10Creates an imprint of an item for later restoration
The imprint can't be applied to Fractured Items
Right click this item then left click on an item to create an imprint. This imprint can later be used to restore this specific item to that imprinted state.
can no longer be applied to Fractured items, overriding their Fractured modifiers.
3.2.0
  • Magic items can now be imprinted using a beast crafting recipe.
2.0.0
  • Eternal Orbs no longer drop in any league.
0.11.0
  • Introduced to the game.
