|description=After a short preperation time, you attack repeatedly with a ranged weapon. These attacks have a small randomized spread. Only works with Bows and Wands.
Barrage is a ranged attack skill that fires all of your bow or wand projectiles rapidly in succession.
Skill functions and interactions
* Attack time vs projectile count: Barrage fires 5 projectiles by default, and can be increased through various modifiers. 40% of the attack time is spent winding up, and the remaining 60% of the attack time is distributed equally between each fired projectile. Additional projectiles will reduce the time between each fired projectile and increase the number of hits per second, but has no impact on the overall attack time.
* Volley Support: Linking Barrage to Volley Support or Greater Volley Support will cause the arrows to instead fire in sequence in a near-parallel volley, from the leftmost to rightmost firing point.
* Randomised spread: By default, projectiles from Barrage spread over a small angle of approximately 20 degrees. Allocating Far Shot causes Barrage to have no spread.
* Dual wielding: Each use of Barrage will alternate wands if dual-wielding.
* Triggers: Barrage cannot be triggered by effects such as Snipe and Maloney's Mechanism.<ref>{{cite web
| author = Jatin_GGG
| date = Apr 18, 2019
| title = Maloney's Mechanism can't trigger barrage.
* Volley Fire: Volley fires the first and last projectiles in the sequence to also fire 3 additional projectiles on either side in an arc. These projectiles cannot hit the same target as the main projectile.
* Because Barrage fires a flat number of arrows instead of one plus a number of Additional Arrows Fury Valve will not modify the base number of projectiles Barrage fires. Each projectile fired will still split off two arrows to hit additional targets, and any sources of Additional Projectiles such as Lesser Multiple Projectiles Support will be applied to the number of arrows that split, not the base number of arrows the skill fires. In other words, 0% quality Barrage linked with Lesser Multiple Projectiles will shoot 7 arrows while adding Fury Valve will result in Barrage firing the base 5 projectiles which then split off to hit up to an additional 20 (5 * (2 + 2)) targets.
Skill Functions and Interactions
Additional Projectiles: Like all bow attacks which have more than one projectile, a single enemy cannot be hit by more than one projectile per attack. If multiple arrows are on course to impact any given monster, all but one will ignore that monster and travel past to potentially hit enemies behind the first one encountered.
This skill can be gained as a reward for finishing quest:
Skill enchantment modifier list
Barrage is first available to the Duelist, Ranger, Shadow and Witch from the The Caged Brute quest in Normal difficulty.
Moreover, legacy items may have the EnchantmentBarrageNumOfAdditionalProjectiles2_ enchantment from Eternal Labyrinth, but have a legacy value of enchanted, instead of current value of 1. The value will not be changed by a Blessed Orb.
