Legacy league

Legacy league was a challenge league. It launched on March 3, 2017 as part of the content update for version 2.6.0.[1] The league ended on July 31, 2017. The league was originally scheduled to end on May 29, 2017, but was extended several times.[2][3][4]
In the Legacy leagues, enemies dropped Leaguestones that could be equipped to experience one of 17 previous leagues in the next zone. Up to three Leaguestones could be equipped at a time, and Leaguestones could also have magic modifiers that altered the way the leagues are encountered. Not only was it possible to obtain league-specific items this way, the Legacy leagues offered a chance to obtain a foil unique item, a special version of unique items with its original legacy item stats. They could be randomly obtained in an Ancient Reliquary by using an

All characters and stashes were moved to Standard league and Hardcore league respectively when the leagues end. Characters that died in the Hardcore Legacy league were immediately moved to the permanent Standard league.
Ladders
In Legacy league, players could choose to enable either of these optional game modes:
- Hardcore (HC)
- Solo Self-Found (SSF)
This means that there were four distinct ladders for Legacy league:

The Legacy leagues included 40 optional challenges. Completing them awarded the following microtransactions:
