Armour and Evasion, Aura Effect
Gain Adrenaline for 20 seconds when you reach Low Life
Remove all Ailments and Burning when you gain Adrenaline
Recover 25% of Life when you gain Adrenaline [1]
First to Strike, Last to Fall is an Ascendancy passive skill for the Champion that causes attacks to apply Intimidate against enemies on full life, causing them to take increased attack damage. It also grants Adrenaline whenever your life is brought to low life, which grants a large bonus to damage, speed, and physical damage reduction, while also removing ailments and burning damage and recovering life.
Adrenaline is only gained when the player goes from not being on low life to going to low life. In other words, it won't activate if you are already at low life.
Ruthless mode
Remove all Ailments and Burning when you gain Adrenaline
Recover 25% of Life when you gain Adrenaline
First to Strike, Last to Fall in Ruthless mode does not Intimidate enemies and has a lower duration for the Adrenaline buff.

Armour and Evasion, Attack Speed
Cannot be Stunned while Fortified
+500 to Armour and Evasion Rating while Fortified [1]
Unstoppable Hero is an Ascendancy passive skill for the Champion that grants increased attack speed, additional armour and evasion rating, and stun immunity while you have Fortify.
Ruthless mode
Unstoppable Hero in Ruthless mode does not grant bonuses while Fortified. Instead, it causes allies to count as having Fortification stacks equal to yours. This ignores modifiers to maximum fortification on allies.
It also swapped positions with Fortitude, requiring Fortitude to be allocated as a pre-requisite node.

Armour and Evasion, Fortify Effect
[1]
Fortitude is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Champion that passively grants the user the Fortify effect with 20 minimum Fortification stacks.
This allows non-melee characters to utilize Fortify effectively by removing the need to use melee attacks to build Fortification.
Ruthless mode
Fortitude in Ruthless mode grants 15 stacks of Fortification instead.
It also swapped positions with Unstoppable Hero, with Fortitude becoming a pre-requisite node.

Unstoppable Hero Armour and Evasion, Fortify Effect
10% reduced Damage taken if you've Taunted an Enemy Recently
Enemies Taunted by you deal 20% less Damage with Hits and
Ailments against other targets [1]
Conqueror is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Champion that causes hits to apply Taunt. It also grants damage reduction if you've Taunted an enemy recently and improves the inherent "less damage dealt" effect against targets other than yourself from enemies Taunted by you.
Mechanics
Enemies Taunted by you deal 20% less Damage with Hits and Ailments against other targets is multiplicative with the "10% less Damage dealt" value normally granted by taunt, providing 28% less damage dealt to other targets.
Proxies - Totems and other targetable proxies inherit the 100% chance to Taunt on Hit.
- Proxies that persist for a duration will also inherit the Enemies Taunted by you deal 20% less Damage effect during the duration of the taunt, allowing the character to benefit from the lessened damage[1] (effectively mitigation), but will not allow the character to benefit from the 10% reduced Damage taken if you've Taunted an Enemy Recently modifier unless the character also taunts directly.
Ruthless mode
Enemies Taunted by you deal 20% less Damage with Hits and Ailments against other targets
Conqueror in Ruthless mode does not grant chance to taunt or reduced damage taken. It instead causes enemies in Close Range (2.0 metres) to be taunted.
