The aura granted by their Smite skill scales with minion level, and at gem level 25 is roughly equivalent to a level 40 Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Smite".[1]
The Cursed Ground circles individually cause enemies within it to be cursed with 
Enfeeble, 
Temporal Chains, or 
Vulnerability, and ignores curse limits.
