The Chieftain is an Ascendancy class for Marauders.
Overview
The Cheiftain is a fire oriented Ascendancy class that has a good mix of offensive and defensive capabilities. The Chieftain Ascendancy offers support to fire damage builds, fire damage over time builds, strike skills, slam skills, strength stacking, totem skills, and explode capabilities. Furthermore, all of his minor passives grant life regeneration, bolstering life sustain.
Tasalio, Cleansing Water and Valako, Storm's Embrace grants substantial bonuses to cold and lighting resistances just by investing on fire resistance. Arohongui, Moon's Presence lets your totems taunt enemies to both redirect enemies and heal you upon taking damage. The Chieftain can also opt to use Hinekora, Death's Fury against high density, high durability encounters along with utilising ignite proliferation. In terms of strength stacking, Ngamahu, Flame's Advance will allow the Chieftain to reach new heights, while also allowing pure fire damage weapons to have more effective usage and granting the Chieftain more flexibility within the passive tree. Tawhoa, Forest's Strength allows the Chieftain to call upon a mirage to duplicate his strikes and slams, and Tukohama, War's Herald grants the Chieftain Fist of War SupportFist of War SupportSlam, Attack, Melee, AoE, Support
