Summon Raging Spirit (commonly referred to as SRS) is a minion spell that temporarily summons a flying flaming skull that charges at enemies and attacks them.

Skill functions and interactions

  • Behaviour: Raging Spirits do not follow the character like other minions do. Instead, they move towards the direction the player points with their cursor upon summoning. If they encounter enemies on their way, they will immediately attack them. If no enemies are found, they will search for nearby enemies and move to attack them. They will continue chasing and attacking enemies until their duration ends. If multiple Raging Spirits are nearby, they will attempt to choose different targets, making them more effective in spreading their damage across an entire pack of monsters. Due to their ability to fly and naturally chain between packs of enemies, they are great for clearing out entire areas when paired with the Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Melee Splash Support".
  • Duration: Each Raging Spirit has a base duration of 5 seconds. To reach the maximum of 20 Raging Spirits, investing in skill duration might be necessary to extend their lifetime.   • Damage conversion: Raging Spirits deal base physical damage. Their 100% of their Physical Damage is converted into Fire Damage stat is inherent to the minion, not the summoning skill or its own attack skill, meaning it has the same priority as other sources of non-skill conversion like Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Triad Grip", Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Sidhebreath", and Unholy Might. The ratio is scaled down to 100% if the sum exceeds 100%. For example, wearing a 4 green socket Triad Grip will cause 100% of Physical Damage to be converted to Fire and 100% to Cold, which is scaled down to 50% Fire and 50% Cold conversion.
  • Cannot Be Targeted: Raging Spirits cannot be targeted directly, but they can be damaged by enemies accidentally, or through an area of effect.   • Flying: Raging Spirits are flying minions, which means they can move freely over terrain that characters would have to use a movement skill like Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Flame Dash" to cross, such as cliffs, gaps, bodies of water etc. They are also unaffected by some ground effects, and do not block the movement of non-flying entities.[1]
  • Aggression: Raging Spirits have a naturally large aggro range. Making them Aggressive (such as with the Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Feeding Frenzy Support") does nothing,[2] except cancel out Defensive if also supported by Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Meat Shield Support".

Due to the Raging Spirit's fairly low base damage, its remarkably easy to essentially "convert" their damage type to something else by adding enough flat damage of that type.


A popular strategy using these two points above is to add a huge amount of flat added Chaos damage to the Raging Spirits and then have them inflict Poison which allows for extremely efficient scaling of their damage per second through effects like Wither and the Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Temporal Chains" curse.
