A player using Enduring Cry

Exert is a mechanic primarily related to warcries that enhances or adds to the effects of specific types of attacks for a set number of attack uses.

Mechanics

The same skill can be exerted by multiple sources at once, as each source of exert is tracked independently on the skill that added the exert effect.

By default, only slam attacks can be exerted. However, certain skills can exert other types of attacks, such as strike skills, or prevent certain skills from being exerted, such as movement skills.
