Battlemage's Cry is a warcry skill that taunts nearby enemies, grants the user and allies a critical strike chance buff that scales with nearby enemies, and exerts a number of subsequent melee attacks to trigger a supported spell.

Skill functions and interactions

• Power: Normal Monsters have 1 Power, Magic Monsters 2, Rare Monsters 10, Unique Monsters 20, and Players 5
• The Exert mechanic is not compatible with skills which repeat, therefore Battlemage's cry cannot trigger spells from attacks supported by Multistrike
• An exert charge is expended when a melee attack is first initiated, even if the attack is interrupted, or does not hit anything.
• Melee attacks with non-melee components, such as Smite's lightning bolts, may potentially kill all available targets before the melee damage can land, preventing the melee hit that would trigger a spell.
• When linked with multiple spells, each exerted attack will cast one spell, alternating spells in a predetermined order. The order is only progressed when a spell triggers; an exerted attack that hits no enemies will not cause the next spell in sequence to be skipped. If a spell is on cooldown when it would trigger, the next spell in sequence will trigger instead.

Version	Changes
3.25.0	No longer grants a buff which boosts critical strike chance and allows attacks to benefit from increases to spell damage. Instead, the user and nearby allies gain a buff that boosts critical strike chance. The Buff grants +0.5% to Critical Strike Chance per 5 power, and can count a maximum of 25 power. Now has a base duration of 2.5 seconds at gem level 1 (previously 5), scaling up to 3.4 at gem level 20 (previously 5.9).
3.23.0	Quality now provides 0-40% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate, instead of 0-20% increased Area of Effect.
3.17.0	Battlemage's Cry now deal 44% less Damage at gem level 1 (previously 20%), and 38% less at gem level 20 (previously 11%).
