Endurance charges are one of the three charge types. They are associated with strength and represent a temporary increase to the ability to endure pain during combat. They are visualized as glowing red orbs surrounding the character.

The physical damage reduction stacks with the damage reduction from armour, so that they are both applied at the same time.

Endurance charges have an improved effect on enemies and minions, granting them 15% Physical Damage Reduction and +15% to all Elemental Resistances per charge.

  • Endurance, Stamina, Vigour are passive skills that each grant +1 maximum endurance charge.
  • The Juggernaut's notable skill Unflinching grants +1 maximum endurance charge.
  • Aiding Oak in the quest Deal with the Bandits on the Merciless difficulty setting rewards you with a permanent +1 maximum Endurance Charge.
  • Corrupting a belt with a Vaal Orb can give the item a +1 Maximum Endurance Charge as an implicit.

These unique items grant increased maximum endurance charges:

Effects on Monsters and Minions
