Poisonous Concoction is an unarmed attack skill gem that throws an explosive bottle, dealing area damage with a chance to poison. Charges can be consumed from a Life Flask to add further damage. This skill gem requires an empty main hand, and no off-hand weapon or quiver.
A Poisonous Flask is visibly attached to your Character's Belt when the skill is socketed in one of your equipped items.
The explosions from projectiles can overlap. The projectiles from Poisonous Concoction are ground-targeted, cannot collide with enemies, and cannot pierce, fork, split or chain; only the explosion hits and does damage.
The explosion will visually turn red if the skill consumed Life Flask charges on that attack.
AoE breakpoints:
The base radius of the skill is 18. 13% increased AoE gives the skill a radius of 19, 26% increased AoE gives a radius of 20, and 37% increased AoE gives a radius of 21.
Testing with 9 total projectiles showed that most projectiles will overlap when the radius is 20 (average 8.8 out of 9), and all projectiles will overlap when the radius is 21[1]
Added Chaos Damage equal to #% of Flask's Recovery Amount if Charges were consumed:
This skill will add chaos damage if a life flask's charges were consumed.
The added damage is only base on the value of "Recover #" on the life flask itself, the one that can be seen at the top of life flask when mouse over it.[2]
