Version history

Prior to the Harvest rework in version 3.19.0, Winged Metamorph Scarab could be obtained using a specific harvest crafting option that could be gained from harvesting Vivid Vultures. This harvest crafting option allowed the player to upgrade a scarab, with a chance for it to become Winged.^[1]

During Heist league, Winged Metamorph Scarab could drop from certain chests in heist missions.

Version	Changes
3.19.0	Winged Scarabs can no longer be obtained through harvest crafting.
3.14.0	Winged Scarabs can now be obtained as a tier 4 Intervention safehouse reward.
3.13.0	Harvest has been added to the core game and has been vastly reworked. Winged Scarabs can once again be obtained through harvest crafting. Harvest rewards can no longer appear in Heists, because Harvest is a thing again.
3.12.0	Winged Scarabs can be obtained in Heist league as a drop from certain chests in heist missions.^[2]
3.11.2b	With Harvest not added to the core game, the only way of obtaining Winged Scarabs is no longer available.
3.11.0	Introduced to the game in Harvest league.
