Version history

Version Changes
3.23.0
  • Quality now causes the skill to Fire +0-1 secondary Projectile, instead of providing 0-20% increased Projectile Damage.
  • Alternate quality gems, labyrinth helmet enchantments and unique threshold jewels are all systems that were trying to subtly modify the behaviour of skills. With this expansion these have been combined into a new system called Transfigured Gems that allows us to fully achieve the goal of these three systems, and then some.
  • Transfigured Gems are alternate versions of existing skill gems that have different functionality and balance than their regular versions. We have added many of these, with interesting variations that drastically change how existing skills play.
  • Anomalous, Divergent and Phantasmal Quality Gems have been removed from the game. Existing alternate Quality Gems now have the base Quality effect found on the respective Gem.
3.13.0
  • Now deals base weapon damage and has an added damage effectiveness of 100% at gem level 1 (from 90%), up to 120% at gem level 20 (from 109%).
3.12.0
  • Now has alternative gem quality:[2]
Anomalous: 3% of Physical Damage converted to a random Element (per 1% quality)
Divergent: 0.5% increased Attack Speed (per 1% quality)
3.10.0
  • Fixed a bug where Volley supported the secondary projectiles of Tornado shot when it shouldn't have.
3.9.0
  • The secondary projectiles now fade over time, similar to Freezing Pulse, but without the gradual damage drop-off. In other words, the secondary projectiles will have a shorter range by default, but can be increased by increasing the skill's Projectile Speed.
3.8.0
  • The Labyrinth Helmet Enchantment for Tornado Shot which added additional secondary projectiles is now exclusively available from the Eternal Labyrinth, and now only adds one additional secondary projectile. Existing items with this enchantment are unaffected.
2.1.0
  • Tornado Shot's base damage has been increased by a flat 10% at all levels.
2.0.0
  • Now grants 1% increased projectile damage per 1% quality (was 0.5% per 1% quality).
  • Base Damage has been reduced from 90% to 80% at gem level 1.
1.2.3
  • The secondary arrow from Tornado Shot has had its effect changed. The secondary arrow no longer leaves a permanent arrow in the environment.
1.2.2
  • Fixed a bug where Tornado Shot would hit the same monster multiple times when it chained or returned.
1.2.1
  • Fixed a bug where arrow pierce would not apply to Tornado Shot.
1.2.0
  • Tornado Shot has been added to the game.
