A Blessed Orb re-rolls the [[implicit modifier]] of an item. It cannot be used on items without implicit modifiers or whose implicit modifiers do not have a range of values. They can be used on items with special implicits, such as [[synthesised item]]s items with [[Eldritch implicit modifier]]s. They cannot be used to alter implicit modifiers on [[corrupted]] items, which prevents the user of Blessed Orbs on it. Because of their limited impact and somewhat uncommon rarity, Blessed Orbs are better used for items that already have desirable explicit modifiers and for meeting stat breakpoints like capped [[resistance]]s and [[attribute]] requirements when needed.
 
Blessed Orbs can not roll the same implicit value that the original item had. If the current implicit value is low, then on average you have better odds of rolling a high implicit value, and vice versa.
 
Blessed Orbs can also be used to reroll the implicit values on [[Expedition Logbook]]s.

Blessed Orbs are rare currency items that can be dropped by slain monsters, chests, and destructible containers. They also drop from Arcanist's Strongboxes.
