A Flask is a rechargeable potion. When used the flask consumes a certain amount of flask charges and recovers a portion of life, mana, or grants temporary bonus for the duration of the flask effect. Used flask charges can be refilled by killing enemies: a normal (Normal) monster grants 1 charge, a magic (Magic) monster grants 3.5 charges, a rare (Rare) monster grants 6 charges, and a unique (Unique) monster grants 11 charges.[1] Within a party, all players close to the killed enemy get charges.[2] Flasks have a +75% charge recovery bonus for each party member after the first. Partial fraction charges are stored but not displayed in game.
Every character has space for five flasks. When you go to town, all your flasks are automatically fully recharged. If you equip a flask within a hostile area, the flask has zero active charges by default, and you have to kill enemies to gain charges for that flask.
Glassblower's BaublesGlassblower's BaubleStack Size: 20Improves the quality of a flaskRight click this item then left click a flask to apply it. Has greater effect on lower-rarity flasks. The maximum quality is 20%. are used to increase the quality of a flask. Quality on life, mana, and hybrid flasks increases the amount of life and/or mana recovered by that percentage. Quality on other flasks increase the duration by that percentage. Note that quality on flasks stacks multiplicatively with other modifiers to flasks (for example, the increased flask duration nodes from the passive tree or belts). Furthermore, things with increased flask effect will not only improve the implicit mod of a flask, but any of the mods that the flask has rolled (always rounded down).
Life Flasks

- Increased Amount to Recover causes the flask to recover an increased amount at the same rate. The duration is thus increased.
- Increased Recovery Speed causes the flask to recover the same total amount at a faster rate. The duration is thus shortened.
- Increased Recovery Rate effective combines the above and causes the flask to recover at a faster rate for the same duration. The total amount recovered is thus increased.
Many of the Life and Mana prefixes lie on a spectrum between faster and more recovery:
Faster ← Seething, Bubbling, Catalyzed, (normal), Saturated → More Recovery
Note that flasks which don't have any recovery, such as a granite flask, can't roll any recovery mods.

Note that when activating a flask, different suffix effects can happen simultaneously but only one particular suffix type of a flask can apply to your character at one time, with the greatest of the two happening at the same time. Example: Say you have a ruby flask (duration 3.5s) with +30% movement speed, a jade flask (duration 5s) with +20% movement speed, and a granite flask (duration 4s) with +100% armour. If you activate the jade flask right away, you get a +20% movement speed bonus. If 0.5 seconds later you now get +30% movement speed. The original movement speed effect still has 4.5 seconds left, but it gets overwritten by the stronger effect temporarily. If 0.5 seconds later you activate your granite flask, then you have +30% movement speed and +100% armour. The armour and movement speed mods are different, so they don't conflict. 3 seconds later your ruby flask effect ends, but the jade flask still has 1 second left, so you gain +20% movement speed from the jade flask now.
