Events are special temporary leagues that players can participate for a limited period of time. Events often include additions and changes to the mechanics or gameplay loop to create an experience that differs from the base game. Events are often held near the end of a challenge league's life cycle, usually winter months.
{| class="wikitable"

Players can receive microtransaction items for participating in an event. Players can receive prizes for having a character reach a certain level or be entered into a raffle based on their highest level character. Events also have special prizes given to players on the top of the event leaderboards, to characters with the most amount of experience.

Races were a series of seasonal events where players compete with each other to reach the top of the leaderboard, whether by gaining as much experience as possible or reaching a certain objective within a time limit. Races award reward points based on the player's placing, which lets them acquire unique items with alternate 2D artworks.

A more advanced technique for Blight farming is to run Blight in maps with tight spaces like Toxic Sewer Map to minimize the number of lanes. Since every Blight encounter must have at least one lane with Oils as a reward, it makes it more likely to spawn a Blight lane with multiple Oil rewards. This combines well with the Sextant mod that increases the tier of Oils dropped from Blight.

Delirium
Delirium is one of the best league modifiers for map juicing, but also one of the most demanding for your build. Delirium is not recommended for builds that don't have a lot of damage and defenses.

Delirium rewards become easier to meet the most monsters a map has, so it works well with any other league mechanics that adds more monsters like Breach, Abyss and Beyond, as well as any other league mechanic that pauses the fog, like Harvest and Alva master missions.

Simulacrum is time-consuming, but rewarding if your build can handle all 30 waves, or at the very least the first 20.

Essence
Essence farming is one of the most reliable ways to generate consistent profit: Essences are always in demand and players will purchase them in bulk.

Since Essence drops are not affected by any item quantity/rarity modifiers, Essence farming is also one of the best way for low-power characters to make a profit. There is almost no difference between farming Essences in a tier 1 map or a tier 16 map.

For low-level Essence farming, avoid adding modifiers to make them more difficult like Tormented Spirits if possible. Essence monsters can get very dangerous if it has too many modifiers.

Expedition
Expedition can be somewhat time-consuming if you take the time to check the remnant mods, but this can be solved with Extreme Archaeology.

Gwennen gives the lowest value of the Expedition NPCs. Very rarely, you can get a extremely valuable unique item, but the odds are so low it makes her not reliable as a primary form of profit.

Rog has a very high learning curve, but he can create very powerful and valuable Rare equipment if you know how to use his services.

Tujen is very straightforward: trade artifacts for bubblegum currency. Occasionally, he may offer high-value currency or exceptional gems.

Dannig is essentially a wild card for the other three NPCs, but he can also sell Logbooks, which can be profitable for personal use or on the market.

Harbinger
Harbinger's Orb should only be used on red tier maps for a chance to obtain a red tier The Beachhead. Beachheads are occasionally used in XP farming rotations and sell on the market if you don't plan on running them yourself.

Fracturing Shards are the main source of income from Harbingers.

Harvest
Harvest has one of the lowest variance of all the league content, since the only notable drop from Harvest is Lifeforce.

The amount of Lifeforce gained is determined by increased item quantity and pack size. Harvest should be taken with Eldritch Altars for item quantity/rarity altars.

Harvest crafting is very versatile and is useful for any kind of player, which makes Lifeforce farming a very consistent source of income. Alternatively, a high-investment strategy is to use Harvest crafting to deterministically craft +2 gem level amulets to sell to the market.

Legion
Legion is one of the most demanding content in terms of clear speed. Legion is best reserved for builds with huge AoE or auto-aiming projectiles with good DPS and decent movement speed.

Incubators are the main source of income from Legion encounters. Ornate Incubators drop a Divine Orb fairly regularly. When you have an excess of Incubators from farming Legion, prioritize higher value Incubators over low-value ones like Primal Incubator. Note that Thief's Trinket can have Incubators applied to it.

Emblems tend to have low market value on their own. Most of the demand for Emblems comes from players who run 5-way XP farming services. They are best sold in full sets in bulk.

Ritual
Ritual is one of the slower league mechanics in the game.

Ritual has a very large selection of rewards, which include currency and equipment. High-ilvl Ritual bases like a Blizzard Crown are worth a lot on the market.

A major downside of Ritual is that it has one of the least consistent reward structure of the league content. Reroll as often as you can to increase your chances of finding the big ticket items.

Don't forget to check your Ritual rewards after completing the last altar. You will not get reminded to check them before you accidentally open a new map without looking at it.

Strongbox
Strongboxes is a well-rounded supplementary league mechanic to add, providing a mix of monster packs and rewards.

Secret Operations for Operator's Strongboxes is a must when investing into Strongbox Atlas passives. Tamper-Proof is optional if you don't want to craft your rare Strongboxes.

Abyss

The main strength of Abyss is the number of monsters it adds to a map.

The Abyss rewards themselves are not consistently rewarding, but there's a small chance you may find Abyss uniques that are very valuable.

When juicing the Abyss mechanic using Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Gilded Abyss Scarab"s or Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Winged Abyss Scarab"s, try to roll Monsters fire 2 additional projectiles on your maps, as this increases the number of monsters a Stygian Spire] can spawn.

Beyond

Ultimatum

Ultimatum requires a good investment in defenses to run consistently.

Ultimatum encounters offer different rewards depending on the number of rounds, with valuable currency and Inscribed Ultimatum being offered starting at rounds 8+. Modifiers which treat Ultimatum encounters as though you've completed an additional round will make these rewards appear earlier and more often.

Rewards from Ultimatum have high variance.

Monsters from Ultimatum encounters don't drop any items, which makes it anti-synergistic with other mechanics that only increase monster strength and drops. Global item quantity drops will affect the number of Catalysts you receive.
