Vigilant Strike is a melee attack skill that cannot be evaded and applies the Fortify buff on hit. Vigilant Strike has one of the highest base damages of any attack skill, but has a cooldown that can only be bypassed by expending an endurance charge.

Skill functions and interactions

  • Dual wielding: When dual wielding, Vigilant Strike will randomly choose one weapon to attack with.[citation needed]
  • Can't be Evaded causes any other source of this modifier, as well as accuracy in general, to be redundant.
