Using Vaal Orbs after it gains two implicit will cause it to randomly replace one implicit, but will retain a total of two implicits. This makes double corrupting an ideal strategy before trying to brick it into another Unique or Rare helmet. The only way to gain two implicits is to use double corruption. Using a Vaal Orb on an item that only has one implicit will result in any new implicits to overwrite the existing single implicit.
