Map fragment

Map fragments are items that can be used in a map device to open portals to various high level areas.

Currently, there is a total of 4 different sets of fragments. One of each type is required and has to be placed in the right order to gain access to the area

Fragment sets

Vaal fragments

The regular sacrifice fragments are required to gain access to , where the player can encounter Queen Atziri.

Fragments of this type can be aquired by exchanging a full set of Her MaskHer Mask4Sacrifice FragmentTo her beauty you submit,
lest your neck the great Queen slit. or as a drop from a Vaal Vessel, a corrupted Boss or from Izaro's Treasure.

Advanced Vaal fragments

The advanced mortal fragments are required to gain access to , where the player can encounter a stronger version of Queen Atziri.

The most commonly way to aquire them is to defeat Queen Atziri.

The key fragments are required to gain access to .

They can be obtained by completing certain Prophecies.

Atlas fragments

The atlas fragments are required to gain access to The Shaper's RealmThe Shaper's RealmMap Level: 84
Map Tier: 17
Guild Character: ¥Travel to this Map by using it in the Templar Laboratory or a personal Map Device. Maps can only be used once..

They can be obtained by defeating the Guardians of the Void, or Elder Guardians while possessing a tier 16 map.

Divine Vessel

Unique Boss has 20% increased Area of EffectPower is a curious thing.
It can be contained, hidden, locked away,
and yet it always breaks free.Can be used in a personal Map Device, allowing you to capture the Soul of the Map's Boss. The Vessel containing the captured Soul can be retrieved from the Map Device. You must be in the Map when the boss is defeated.s are not used to gain access to areas. Instead, they can be placed with another map to capture the map bosses soul, which can then be used to upgrade a Pantheon power.

Map quantity

If the player places a fragment along with a map into the map device, the map will have an additional 5% increased quantity of items dropped. Mortal fragments grant 10% quantity. Multiple fragments can be used to stack more quantity. Using duplicated fragments won't work.

Corrupted areas

Vaal fragments can be placed in the map device on its own to instance a random corrupted area. Adding more fragments increases the item quantity of the area, the same way it works with maps. As long as they aren't placed in the correct arrangement, a full set of fragments will open a corrupted area with 15% increased item quantity.
