Battlemage's Cry is a warcry skill that taunts nearby enemies to attack the user and exerts the user’s next five melee attacks. Battlemage's Cry grants a buff which boosts critical strike chance and allows attacks to benefit from increases to spell damage. Exerted attacks trigger a supported spell with their first melee hit.

Skill functions and interactions

• The Exert mechanic is not compatible with skills which repeat, therefore Battlemage's cry cannot trigger spells from attacks supported by Multistrike
• An exert charge is expended when a melee attack is first initiated, even if the attack is interrupted, or does not hit anything.
• Melee attacks with non-melee components, such as Smite's lightning bolts, may potentially kill all available targets before the melee damage can land, preventing the spell from being triggered.
