This article describes historical game content.
Itemized seeds no longer exist in Path of Exile. This article describes Harvest content as it was during Harvest league. Version 3.13.0 added Harvest to the core game in a greatly simplified form that does not include any of the garden building mechanics.
Note that outdated item filter that contains Harvest Seed, may be not able to recognize by the game client as valid filter

Seeds are acquired from Seed Caches and the resulting monsters in the Harvest league. They can be planted in the Sacred Grove and grown to acquire crafting options and Lifeforce.
Seeds of the same base and item level can be stacked.
