Shattering Steel of Ammunition is an attack which uses your sword or axe to launch a projectile which shatters and hits enemies in an area of effect cone on impact or after a short time. The projectiles have a chance to impale on hit. This skill consumes Steel Shards from Call of Steel to fire multiple projectiles and generate Steel Wards which grant additional attack projectile block chance.

Changes from default version

Unlike the original skill, this transfigured version grants the Call of Steel skill, which is used to generate Steel Shards. This skill consumes 2 Steel Shard to fire additional projectiles and generate a stack of Steel Ward, which grants additional attack projectile block chance, otherwise the skill only fires one projectile, as how the base skill used to work before Version 3.23.0.

Skill functions and interactions

• Additional Projectiles: If you use the skill without any Steel Shards, it will always launch only one projectile, even if you have additional projectiles from other sources.

• Steel Ward: The duration of each stack of Steel Wards are individually timed.

• Projectile Speed: Shattering Steel projectiles shatter after a fixed duration, so Projectile Speed will increase the distance the projectiles can travel.

• Melee: Shattering Steel is not considered a melee attack despite using melee weapons, similarly to Spectral ThrowSpectral ThrowAttack, Projectile
