Enlighten is a support gem that has no modifiers, and its sole function is having a mana multiplier less than 100%.

Skill function and interactions

Enlighten is primarily used to decrease the amount of reservation of linked skills. This effect is multiplicative with the effects of x% Increased Mana Efficiency modifiers and the Socketed Skill Gems get a 90% Mana Multiplier corrupted implicit modifier.

Right click to remove from a socket. is generally better (and more cost effective) for that purpose. However, it is a valid option for some skills that cost Life, Energy Shield, or Rage instead.

• Drop-only: Enlighten is a drop-only gem that doesn't have any effect at level 1. The required experience to reach level 3 is considerably greater than normal gems. Its level cap can be exceeded the same way as other gems.

• Supportability: Enlighten only affects skill gems, meaning skills granted from items can't be supported by it.
