Unlike earlier shards, a variable amount of shards are given, depending on each modifiers on the identified item. Each item can give from 1-8 shards, with a full list provided on the recipes page. Some modifiers give Alchemy ShardAlchemy ShardStack Size: 20A stack of 20 shards becomes an Orb of Alchemy.s when sold also. While it is possible to sell items of magic rarity for shards, it is usually more efficient on Scrolls of Wisdom to focus on rare items which have more modifiers.
