The Guardian is an Ascendancy class for Templars.
Overview
Guardians are a powerful option for support Templars dedicated to partying, possessing passives that greatly benefit multiple party members. Even as a solo character, Guardians themselves can benefit from its selection of defensive passives.

Unwavering Faith is a Notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Guardian that adds the effect of increased recovery to each of your active non-curse auras.
Mechanics
The effects of Unwavering Faith behave like an aura and are added onto the effects of whatever non-curse auras the player has cast. Thus, the effects that are granted can be further enhanced by the Guardian's own Aura Effect stat, with the resulting effect always being rounded down to the nearest integer. It also causes enemies touching the link to have lower elemental resistance and prevents them from applying elemental ailments.
Ruthless mode
Enemies in your Link Beams have -10% to all Elemental Resistances
Linked Targets and Allies in your Link Beams have +5% to all Maximum Elemental Resistances
Harmony of Purpose in Ruthless mode has a weaker resistance debuff against enemies touching your links.
