This article describes historical game content.
The Atlas of Worlds was revised significantly in version 3.17.0 and is no longer divided into regions. This article describes the Atlas as it existed prior to the Siege of the Atlas expansion.
Atlas regions are sections of the Atlas of Worlds that contains a fixed set of maps. Each region has a citadel which allows socketing of 4 watchstones. Each watchstone can have various modifiers, changing the drops, enemies and environmental effects for maps run within that region. Since the Echoes of the Atlas expansion, each region also has a passive skill tree, that allows players to customize the type of content they wish to obtain.
Regions
The Atlas is split into 4 different regions, each affecting a Watchstone or Conqueror's area of influence and what item bases can drop.
