Icius Perandus
Icius Perandus, sometimes referred to as "Scholar to the Empire", is a historical figure of Wraeclast and a member of the Perandus family.
He is mentioned on the Golden Pages, in Siosa's dialogue, in the now removed Perandus Scarabs, as well as in the flavour text of various items, such as

Lore
Icius was a scholar, historian, and collector, with a collection of several thousand artefacts called the "Antiquities Collection". His work explored the history and culture of several past and present civilizations including the primeval civilization, the Vaal, the Karui, and the Azmeri.
According to Siosa, Icius Perandus knew and worked under Malachai.
From Siosa's translation on the Golden Page:
My dearest Icius,
I have been enlightened beyond expectation. Your work in translating these artefacts is worthy of the highest recompense, and thus I am delighted to offer you a position in my personal laboratory. Please do not give your escorts any consternation. I would be most pained to see such a precious asset damaged in any way.

The exact relationship between Emperor Chitus and Icius is unknown, apart from sharing the same family name. However, Malachai was a thaumaturgist employed under Chitus, indicating a possible connection.

, Icius ceased his work under Malachai and later joined the Order of the Djinn. He was documented to have planned against theft of artefacts by Cadiro Perandus. Icius was also documented to have some role during the Cataclysm.
In version 3.16.0, Cadiro Perandus and the Perandus Scarabs were removed from the game, and the canonicity of Icius Perandus' history in the current timeline is unknown.
