Overview
The Trickster is a versatile hybrid class that mixes speed, utility, and defences. He is well-suited for damage over time builds with his strong recovery from Patient Reaper and damage over time specialization via Prolonged Pain. The Trickster also gains added layers of defence to his evasion and energy shield from Escape Artist, synergizing well with the former-Ascendancy/now-Keystone Ghost Dance. He is able to generate and maintain power and frenzy charges either from killing enemies or channelling an ability with Swift Killer. He can also choose to specialize in strong mana-based bonuses from Weave the Arcane or a chance to gain large amounts of extra chaos damage from conversion skills via Harness the Void. Finally, Heartstopper provides a unique rotating buff that negates all damage over time taken for 5 seconds every 10 seconds, creating some interesting synergies with skills like Righteous Fire.
