The first zone is just a normal Ledge zone similar to [[The Ledge]] but with the zone level being 2. The rest are considered [[Map|Map Zones]] and will be able to roll random map affixes, monster types, bosses, and base biome type.

At Zone 45 the zone level reaches its cap, 60, from that point the next maps from 46-100 will be unique. Upon getting to map 100 it will wrap back to zone 45 and go through them endlessly. (This was stated by a GGG member but after looking for 10mins, I can't find it)

The Endless Ledge is a race type based on the Act 1 zone The Ledge. Players progress through narrow and linear levels that become increasingly difficult.
Like the Descent and Descent: Champions race types, there is no access to towns or vendors. Instead, players start next to a provisions chest with various skill gems, starting equipment, and flasks. There are bonuses to item rarity so players can find better equipment, but this means that characters are not transferred to Hardcore afterwards like in most races. Instead, they will be moved to the Void League when the race ends.
If players log out and later rejoin the race, they spawn at the beginning of the zone where they logged out. If enough time has passed for the instance to close, a new instance is generated.
