In general, narrow, linear maps will contain fewer total monsters than maps with complex layouts. Layout

Linear indoor layout based on The Caverns with crossable gaps. The boss arena is shaped like an O.


Encounters

Boss

The arena has four pairs of electric poles in the donut-shaped arena that create an electric fence each time the Guardian of the Minotaur loses 20% Life. Inflicts a 50% Shock and the Arc Trap debuff, reducing Action Speed by 65%. Note that the Minotaur (and his golems) can be shocked by the Arc Trap. Additionally, stone golems are summoned periodically.
