Mechanics

Ravenous is a spell that consumes a corpse near the targeted location, granting a buff that provides more damage against and less damage taken from monsters of the same monster category as the consumed corpse:

• Beast
• Construct
• Demon
• Eldritch
• Humanoid
• Undead

This buff has no duration and persists permanently in that instance or until you die. The buff can only provide bonuses against one monster category at a time and is overwritten when a new corpse is consumed.

Ravenous cannot be used on corpses created through skills. It can only be used on corpses of killed enemies or from corpse items. Players can purchase corpse items from the Breaker of Oaths to quickly generate a corpse of the desired monster category for situations like pinnacle boss encounters where the desired corpse type may be unavailable.
