Vaal Glacial Hammer is a vaal melee attack that hits an enemy with a staff or mace, converting some of the player's physical damage to cold damage and temporarily creating a ring of ice around the targeted enemy.

Skill Functions and Interactions

The circle of ice functions similarly to Frost Wall. Players, monsters and most projectiles can't pass through it.

Version	Changes
3.7.0	Now converts 60% of physical damage to cold (from 50%). Now adds 2 to 3 cold damage to attacks against chilled enemies at gem level 1, up to 75 to 113 at gem level 20. Now has 10% increased effect of chill at gem level 1, up to 29% at gem level 20. Every strike now freezes enemies as if it were dealing 500% more damage.
