Skill Functions and Interactions

Increased Duration support (as well as applicable passives) increase both the lifetime of the trap and the duration of the immobilization.

The base duration of the immobilization is based on how much damage Bear Trap deals compared to the target's maximum Life.

Since the skill Bear Trap uses is a Cast, not a spell, it does not benefit from modifiers that apply exclusively to spells.

1.0.0	Damage at high levels has been reduced by around 40% at level 15.
0.10.5	Bear Trap's damage has been increased at lower levels and reduced at higher levels. It has been increased by 15% at level one and reduced by 20% at level 15. The cooldown times of traps (except for Conversion trap and the Trap support gem) have been lowered to four seconds. (Bear Trap's cooldown is three seconds)
0.10.1	Fixed a server crash that would occur involving Bear Traps.
0.9.12t	Increased quality's bonus by 50%.
0.9.12qq	From 1% physical damage per quality point to 0.5%.
0.9.10	Added a 5% critical strike chance. Increased its mana cost. Increased the effect that support gems have on this skill. Reduced damage at lower levels but increased it at higher levels.
