Remnant of Corruption

Remnant of Corruption is an essence.

Obtaining

• Trapped monsters possessing a Remnant of Corruption cannot be leeched from.

On slaying a monster bearing a Remnant of Corruption, the remnant is dropped just like normal essences. Additionally two Fleshmonsters spawn on the drop location.

Spending

Corrupting the Essence a monster is trapped in will result in one of the following outcomes chosen at random:

• Mobs are broken free with empowered stats.
• All contained essences are upgraded by 1 tier level.
• Another essence is added.
• Upgrade the essence type to a higher essence type in the tiered progression. This is the only way to obtain an Essence of HysteriaEssence of HysteriaStack Size: 9

  Quiver: Gain 15% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage
  Amulet: 150% increased total Recovery per second from Life Leech
  Ring: Gain 10% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage
