Mechanics

  • Minions skills do not inherently deal damage; they summon a minion which deals damage. Triple damage would not apply to Elemental Minions in this case.
  • #% reduced resistances (NOT a -#% to Resistances) is an additive modifier to increase/reduced resistance mods. (i.e. sum up all increase/reduced resistance mods first and then use that total to multiply with the sum of +#% or -#% to X resistances from mods, passives and Kitava; if it is 10% increase, it is times 110%, if it is 10% reduced, it is times 90%; if there is more/less resistance, use the product of the previous calculation to multiply with) Net reduced resistance mod made your Uncapped Resistances (in Character Screen) converge (towards) to zero, while net increase resistance mod diverged the resistance from zero.

Larger reduced resistance value (say 30% vs. larger 50%) by stacking such reduced resistances mods from similar items, will turn into negative resistances (from the sum of +#% or -#% to X resistances from all items and Kitava's penalty , say -10%) will become less negative (toward zero; -10%*(100%-30%)=-7% verse -10%*(100%-50%)=-5% ), so it has anti-synergy with Doryani's PrototypeDoryani's Prototype

There is a cap of 100% reduce resistance in-game[1] so that you can never flip the res from positive to negative by overflowing the reduced resistance value.
With a 60% reduced res roll , starting from -60% baseline (post Act 10 Kitava), you would need a total of +247.5% fire resistance mods to reach 75% fire resistance. (same for cold/lightning)
With a 75% reduced res roll, starting from -60% baseline (post Act 10 Kitava), you would need +360% fire resistance mods to reach 75% fire resistance. (same for cold/lightning)

The Annihilating Light has restrictions on where or how it can drop. It cannot be chanced.
