Raise Zombie

"Wraeclast is a cursed place, where the dead walk freely. Novice occultists have learned to harness this quality of the land, summoning an undead minion to do their bidding. The incantation is a minor one, so the only required reagent is some fresh kill lying about. Once summoned, the mindless creature will wander about defending its master. Higher levels of skill will summon an entity that moves quicker, hits harder, and absorbs more damage."

Raise Zombie is a spell that summons an allied zombie minion.

Skill Functions and Interactions

Support Gems: Any support that would work on a melee attack will be used by your zombies' attacks when linked to the raise zombie gem.

Corpse Targeting: You can hold down the corpse targeting toggle (defaults to "a" button) to more easily choose a corpse to raise.

The maximum amount of raised zombies can be increased by passive skills and unique items.

Zombies have 35% Fire, Cold and Lightning resistance, regardless of the difficulty. In addition to their melee attacks, they occasionally use an area of effect slam attack.

Achievements

If you manage to raise the appropriate number of Zombies, you will be rewarded the following achievement:

Version history

Version	Changes
2.1.0	Zombies now attack faster. They also now have an area of effect slam skill and 30% greater stun threshold.
1.2.4	Minion and totem resistances have been standardised. Raised Zombies now have 35% and all other minions and player-summoned totems have 25% Fire, Cold and Lightning resistance in all difficulties.
1.2.0	Raised zombies now have 13% more life.
1.0.6	The life progression of all player summoned minions and totems has been changed. Minions and totems now have more life at lower levels (+50% at level one) and around the same life by approximately gem level 21. The damage of has been increased by around 50%. The additional damage bonuses at higher levels of the gem have been removed.
0.9.12	The skill gem now allows three zombies to be raised, regardless of level. The passive tree allows up to five additional zombies. Their life has been reduced by 30% and they now have Armour. The damage bonus for zombies now only applies for skill level 15 and up (level 54 zombies).
