Fire Trap

Throws a trap that explodes when triggered, leaving an area of burning ground that damages enemies who walk through it.

Skill Functions and Interactions

Burning Ground Effect: The burning area left behind after a Fire Trap explosion does not act like other burning damage. It will do fire-based health degeneration damage simultaneously with other burning damage for as long as an enemy is within the radius of the Fire Trap. Once an enemy leaves the area, they will stop taking damage from Fire Trap. Elemental/fire damage passives will only increase the damage of the initial explosion. Burning damage passives will increase the DoT potency.

Duration: Skill duration passives and the Increased Duration support gem will increase both the time before the trap times out and the duration of the burning ground effect.

Gem Quality

Each percentage of quality adds +1.5% increased Burning damage.

Quest Reward

This skill can be gained as a reward for finishing quest:

• Enemy at the Gate in Act 1 (Normal), by Shadow
• Mercy Mission in Act 1 (Normal), by Shadow, Ranger, Duelist and Witch
• Breaking Some Eggs in Act 1 (Normal), by Duelist
