Some items in the game are considered '''Drop-restricted items'''. While most items can drop from anywhere (though potentially with a very low drop rate), these items are impossible to obtain outside of certain encounters or methods, with some being simply impossible to obtain in the current game. This article covers drop restrictions other than area-restrictions and boss-restrictions (in which the item is tied to a specific area or a specific boss).

I am attempting to combine all the info I can find about no longer obtainable items, affixes, etc. onto a single page. This will, IMO, be a great resource. If you happen to see this page while it is here in the draft phases, feel free to use the talk pages for suggestions, but please do not edit this page (it's an offshoot of my user page, so that SHOULDN'T happen, but it can't hurt to cover my bases). Info helps too, and can be relayed on the talk page. I know I don't have all the race rewards or league specific uniques, but it's 5:30 AM here and I'm tired. I am very interested in any lists of legacy affixes you may have, though. I know there's IIQ ones, and I know crit multi affixes were nerfed, or maybe the top tier was removed... I think this happened in 1.1.0, but I am not sure. That'll be the first place I look. Anyway, other than that and the resplendent mod (which I think I got right, feel free to correct that too), I have no clue.

DISCLAIMER

I am attempting to combine all the info I can find about no longer obtainable items, affixes, etc. onto a single page. This will, IMO, be a great resource. If you happen to see this page while it is here in the draft phases, feel free to use the talk pages for suggestions, but please do not edit this page (it's an offshoot of my user page, so that SHOULDN'T happen, but it can't hurt to cover my bases). Info helps too, and can be relayed on the talk page. I know I don't have all the race rewards or league specific uniques, but it's 5:30 AM here and I'm tired. I am very interested in any lists of legacy affixes you may have, though. I know there's IIQ ones, and I know crit multi affixes were nerfed, or maybe the top tier was removed... I think this happened in 1.1.0, but I am not sure. That'll be the first place I look. Anyway, other than that and the resplendent mod (which I think I got right, feel free to correct that too), I have no clue.

For each temporary league, a number of unique items are created which do not drop in permanent leagues, even once those temporary leagues end. This means that after the leagues merge into their permanent counterparts, these permanent leagues are the only place these items can be found. Sometimes, these uniques return in an alternate art form as race rewards, and the developers have stated that they may return to the drop pool in the distant future.

Removed Gems

Currently, two gems have been removed from the drop table for balance reasons. These gems are Phase Run and Module Error: No skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Item Quantity". While Phase Run was removed during closed beta, and thus can no longer be found in the game, Item Quantity was removed after release, and existing copies remain in the permanent leagues.

Race Rewards

Each race season offers rewards of existing items with alternate art for hitting certain point breakpoints within the season. Race specific rewards (and alternate art counterparts of these) are also offered for placing well in the race or the season. All race rewards are placed into remove-only tabs that can be viewed from any league, but once removed, they remain in the league they were taken into and cannot be transferred to other leagues. Race rewards cannot be viewed or removed from the stash in temporary leagues until four weeks have passed since the beginning of the league.
