Every character in Path of Exile has access to the passive skill tree [1]. The choices the player makes in this tree determine the character's stats, as well as giving them bonuses such as extra cold damage, or increased attack speed with a specific weapon. Each class starts near the center of the skill tree but each at its own "circle" position.
