Strength's Damage bonus applies to Projectile Attack Damage as well as Melee Damage [1]
Legend tells of bows so powerful that only giants could draw them back.
Iron Grip is a keystone passive skill that causes the physical damage bonus to melee attacks from strength to apply to projectile attacks as well.
Taking Iron Grip causes strength to grant 1% increased physical projectile attack damage per 5 points of strength, alongside the melee physical damage bonus it already gives.
Effects that modify strength's effect on melee physical damage will also affect the bonus to physical projectile attack damage granted by Iron Grip. For example,

Iron Grip is a standalone keystone near the center of the skill tree, on the southwest side of the Scion's starting area.
