Melee Splash is a support gem that can be linked with a single-target melee skill gem to add an area of effect (AoE) to the hit.

Melee Splash does not work with melee skills that already have AoE, such as Module Error: Too many skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Ground Slam". Please choose only one of the following ids:
AxisBossGroundSlam - N/A (page)
DropBearSummonedGroundSlam - N/A (page)
and Module Error: Too many skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Cleave". Please choose only one of the following ids:
BreachBossCleavePhysical - N/A (page)
ArakaaliCleave - N/A (page)
. Infernal Blow has the "AoE" keyword for its explosion effect, but the primary hit is still single-target and will benefit from Melee Splash.

Stat modifiers from any source which would apply to an AoE skill will also apply to the AoE component of Melee Splash. These mods include:

  • Area of Effect radius
  • Area Damage

Gem Quality

Each percentage of quality adds +1% increased Area of Effect radius.

Melee Splash is first obtained from Act II Sharp and Cruel (Normal) as Marauder, Duelist, Ranger, Templar, Shadow, and Scion
