However, according to community testing, those legacy variant which without the implicit mod Arrows Pierce an additional Target, will still display +1 to "Number of targets to pierce with arrows" in the character screen.[1] It probably due to the legacy implicit mod ArrowPierceImplicitQuiver12ArrowPierceImplicitQuiver12 Intrinsic has a blank mod text.
Pierce has been reworked. Items and skills that used to use or provide pierce chance now instead use or provide a number of pierces. Once a projectile has reached its pierce limit, it will not pierce further.
The following items have had their Pierce mods replaced:
