Skill Functions and Interactions

Spell Totem: When Summon Skeletons is supported with , the totem will continue to cast Summon Skeletons even if the maximum number of skeletons has been reached. Older skeletons will then be replaced by newer skeletons, possibly moving them to another target.

Limit

Player can have at once maximum (22 to 56)¹ skeletons:

• 6 from skill gem
• 6 from passives
• 6 from unique items (dual wielding Midnight Bargain)
• 2 from Catarina mod
• 2 from Army of Bones unique jewel¹

¹ Remember it is accompanied by a 'reduced skeleton duration'. For example, Witch taking all passive skills for the amount of skeletons, will still be 18 Jewel Sockets - in which puts Army of Bones - this gives the theoretically maximum 56 skeletons but would also require duration nodes and gems. In a perfect build setup for it one would possess perfect 10% reductions resulting in -180% duration, which could be negated by Queens decree (150-200% skele duration. It would cost you 2 skeletons from midnight bargain dual wielding) or simply minimized by taking duration nodes (90%) and gem (upto 64% at gem 20 no quality etc) if you don't wish to limit your weapon. (however without increased duration nodes and gem, the duration of skeletons cases would be 0 seconds -> effect of jewel (18*(10 to 20%) reduced skeletons duration).

Version history

1.0.6	The mana cost of the Summon Skeletons skill has been reduced at all levels. Summoned skeletons now do around 40% more damage at all levels.
0.9.12	Life increased by 50%. Skeletons are now summoned in pairs, regardless of the level of the gem. The maximum number of raisable skeletons now starts at 4 and goes up to 6 at maximum level. An additional six can be obtained from the passive skill tree.
0.9.7c	Fixed the sound effects so that it isn't too loud when multiple skeletons are summoned.
