Critical Strike Affliction Support

Poison is a support gem. It increases the poison damage of linked skills and grants them the ability to poison enemies on hit.

Skill functions and interactions

The Poison gem deals 10% of the hit's chaos and physical damage as chaos damage per second, and lasts 2 seconds by default.

• Skill Effect Duration - Stats that modify skill effect duration will apply to the poison duration, even if it does not have the "Duration" gem tag.
• Projectile Damage - if Poison is linked to an projectile attack, the damage of the Poison status effect is also affected by the Projectile Damage stat in addition to the initial hit damage allowing to benefit twice from any increases to projectile damage
