Quest reward

This skill can be gained as a reward for finishing quest:

• Enemy at the Gate in Act 1 (Cruel), by Templar, Shadow, Ranger, Witch, and Scion
• The Caged Brute in Act 1 (Cruel), by Templar and Witch
• Lost in Love in Act 3 (Cruel), by Templar and Witch

Strategy

Eldritch Battery

It is almost impossible for Discipline to increase your unreserved Mana with Eldritch Battery, given that you are likely already have a large Mana pool (and thus Discipline will reserve a large number of points of Mana) or you are reserving most of it already (and thus the extra Mana from Discipline will be more than eaten by the existing plus Discipline's reservation). However, Discipline will increase your Mana regeneration. However, is almost always a better first choice for this purpose, with a level 20 gem effectively increasing your Mana pool by 1411 for purposes of Mana regeneration for a flat base reservation of 520 Mana.
