Mechanics
- Enemies Ignited by you take Chaos Damage instead of Fire Damage from Ignite – This modifier causes enemies that the character ignites to take all damage over time from ignite as chaos damage instead of fire damage. It functions as a "damage taken as" effect (NOT conversion), which shifts how the target resists damage. This means that the fire damage over time inflicted by the character's ignites is still scaled with the usual modifiers, such as Fire Damage over Time Multiplier, but it is resisted by the enemy's chaos resistance rather than by their fire resistance.[1][2]
- This allows scaling with Withered and Chaos Resistance reductions like DespairDespairSpell, AoE, Duration, Chaos, Curse, Hex
