Melee Splash is a support gem that can be linked with a single-target melee skill gem to add an area of effect to the attack.

Skill functions and interactions

Melee Splash does not work with melee skills that already have an area of effect, such as Module Error: Too many skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Ground Slam". Please choose only one of the following ids:

Skills supported by Melee Splash receive the AoE gem tag. Stat modifiers from any source which would apply to an AoE skill will also apply to the AoE component of Melee Splash. These mods include:

  • Area of Effect radius
  • Area Damage

However, damage on target initially struck does not count as an AoE and will not be affected by relevant bonuses, using splash effectively grants us a normal hit on our primary target plus a donut-shaped AoE around it.

The area of effect created by Melee Splash has a radius of 14 units.
