Hextouch Support

Curse on Hit is a trigger gem that causes a linked curse to cast when the player makes a successful hit.

Mechanics and Interactions

Curses cast via this trigger no longer possess their AoE effect, only affecting the enemy hit with the linked skill.

Minions, Traps, Totems and Mines supported by this gem will not apply any curses even though the tooltip says they can and curses linked to this gem are disabled from being cast directly. This is still true even when using a spell or attack linked to the Trap, Spell Totem/Ranged Attack Totem or Remote Mine support gems.

To use this gem, it needs both a linked attack or spell, and a linked curse. Otherwise it has no effect.

• A Fixture of Fate in Act 3 (Normal), by Templar, Shadow, Marauder, Ranger, Duelist, Witch and Scion

Version	Changes
1.3.0	Curse on Hit now starts with -50% curse duration instead of -10% curse effect. It gains 2% curse duration per gem level, up to 12% reduced curse duration at gem level 20. Its quality remains the same.
1.2.0	This trigger gem now has a 100% chance to cast socketed curses. It has 10% reduced curse effect at level 1, up to 9% increased curse effect at level 20 of the gem. The quality bonus has remained the same.
