Contagion

Contagion is a spell that deals chaos damage to all enemies in the area, and spreads when an enemy dies. Neither the duration of Contagion nor associated degeneration effects () are reset when spread to allies on death.

Skill functions and interactions

• Damage over time: Modifiers to spell, area, chaos damage, and damage over time affect the damage over time component of this spell.
• Area of effect: modifiers to AoE radius (such as #% increased Radius of Area Skills from ) affect both skill radius and spread radius of Contagion and Essence Drain effects.
• Contagion does not hit, and therefore cannot confer the effects of supports such as or .
